Trips around the Gaeltacht available all year around taking in local historical site including the Hill of Ward, Teltown and Ráth Oirthear. During the trip you will be told of the unique history of the migration to this Gaeltacht from other part of the country during 1935-1940 and the continuing survival of the language to present day.
Sean nós / Music workshops
Learn the art of sean nós dancing, unique to the Gaeltacht, from the talented locals in this workshop. Workshops also available in sean nós singing and traditional music.
Freshwater Fishing
Freshwater salmon fishing available in the Blackwater River in the old site of the ancient Teltown Olympics. Fishing and accommodation package available from Teach Tailteann (see accomodation).

Walks trails with breath taking views of the Gaeltacht available all year round! Trail maps available from the Comharchumann in Ráth Chairn and the Comhlacht Forbartha in Baile Ghib. Parking available at starting points.
